AMT Machine Systems Adds Lico Machinery Line

The Lico LNT 26 is one of several models now being imported and distributed by AMT Machine Systems.

The Lico LNT machines use fixed headstock design employing programmable multi-axis and multi-slide turning capability.  

AMT Machine Systems Ltd. (Columbus, Ohio) announced a new relationship with Lico Machinery Company Ltd of Taichung, Taiwan. AMT is now the exclusive importer and distributor for Lico Machines in the United States.

Currently, AMT designs, manufactures and distributes the ServoCam line of CNC screw machines.  With the addition of the CNC multi-axis, multi-slide Lico machine, AMT extends its machine tool offering of fixed headstock turning machines to a larger segment of the precision turning market.

“We have always focused on providing the fastest single-spindle machines using form tool technology. With the Lico LNTS/LNTD line of machines, we can also offer the fastest multi-axis turning solution to our customers,” according to Greg Knight, vice president of AMT Machine Systems.

Lico machines are built on heavy castings, employ three or four two-axis cross-slides and feature a two-axis, eight-position turret with live axial and radial toolholders. The LNTS model comes standard with a turret-mounted subspindle and a gang tool backworking plate.
