On June 12-13, the moldmaking industry comes together at the Donald E. Stevens Center in Rosemont, Ill. Yes, it’s Amerimold 2013, and this year’s edition promises to be the best ever.

In addition to products and services on display, this year’s technical conference program uses three tracks, each sponsored by a professional association or consultancy. Each track takes a critical look at product, application and business management issues as they relate to a primary part of the plastic injection mold lifecycle. Engineer, Build, Maintain summarizes the topic tracks being presented in the technical conferences.

Moldmaking is a key metalworking segment and offers shops the opportunity to expand their expertise and do more work for the existing customer base. Amerimold is focused on making moldmaking accessible to a wide swath of metalworking shops.

These shows are co-located with Amerimold this year:

OMTEC – The Orthopaedic Manufacturing & Technology Exposition & Conference. Attendees include orthopaedic device company professionals from the spectrum of research and development, manufacturing and operations, regulatory and clinical affairs, and executive management.

SUR/FIN – The annual gathering of the surface finishing industry. Attendees include shop owners, custom coaters and OEMs.

FastenerTech – The all-fastener-industry event in the heart of the fastener industry. Attendees include fastener manufacturers, distributors, users and industry suppliers.
