In February, Röhm opened its new office in Monterrey to serve the burgeoning Mexican and Central American metalworking markets.

German-based workholding manufacturer Röhm is expanding its North American presence with the opening of its new office in Mexico. Located in Monterrey, the facility expands the company’s sales, service and support capabilities to meet increasing demand for its workpiece clamping and gripping technology as the metalworking sector continues to grow in Mexico and Central America.

Since 1978, Röhm has maintained presence in the North American market through its Röhm Products of America headquarters in Suwanee, Georgia. Monterrey was chosen for its proximity to the U.S. border and airport, which is the third largest in Mexico and facilitates cost effective, efficient shipping to Mexico and Central America, according to Rodolfo Espeleta, the managing director of the Mexican operation.
