Whether your calendar is paper or digital, we are saying goodbye to 2011 and hello to 2012. It’s the holiday season, a time for reflection and gratitude for the good things that came our way this year.

All in all, by most measures, the audiences that Production Machining’s print and digital brands interact with have had a good year. Domestic manufacturing has been a leading economic bright light in general, and our segment—precision machined parts—continues to outshine many other indicators.

There is much to be grateful for as we look forward to a new year. In that spirit, the staff of Production Machining wishes our subscribers, advertisers and strategic partners a warm and heartfelt appreciation for your continued support, and we look forward to a successful 2012 for all concerned with creating the wealth that drives our economy forward.

There are, of course, many challenges that we will continue to address as the New Year rolls out. However, for now, let’s simply enjoy this holiday season while we rededicate ourselves to the tasks and challenges ahead. Happy Holidays from the staff of Production Machining.
