Emuge-Franken's TIN Coated Thread Gages Improve Wear Resistance
Emuge-Franken USA expands its precision thread gages line with TIN coated gages featuring 3B class-of-fit.
Emuge-Franken USA is expanding its precision thread gages line with TIN-coated gages featuring 3B class-of-fit, enabling critical tolerances to be met. According to the company, the TIN coating enables extreme wear resistance for safety critical aerospace and medical applications, as well as in other demanding environments.
Emuge’s TIN-coated thread gages have high, dimensionally stable HSS construction with a TIN coating that can increase hardness and wear resistance, which can further extend lifespan and reduce the frequency of calibrations and replacements, saving time and cost. By minimizing friction, Emuge’s TIN-coated gages can offer consistent measurements and precision thread sizing. Also, the TIN coating provides a protective barrier against abrasion and corrosion, even in hard or abrasive materials, and harsh environments. Emuge’s TIN-coated gages are available with a 3B class-of-fit in sizes #4 through 1" UNC/ UNF and metric sizes.
Emuge-Franken’s comprehensive line of thread gages consist of Go/No-Go plug gages, thread depth plug gages and ring gages.
