High-Speed Spindles For Swiss Turning
The company has added a 20-mm and 22-mm-diameter model to its Micro line of high-speed spindles for Swiss turning. Right-hand spindles are also available. These spindles eliminate secondary operations for Swiss-type lathes.
The company has added a 20-mm and 22-mm-diameter model to its Micro line of high-speed spindles for Swiss turning. Right-hand spindles are also available. These spindles eliminate secondary operations for Swiss-type lathes. They use synchronous, DC motor technology and operate as much as 100,000 rpm with 260-W continuous power and high torque. They are especially useful for machining applications involving micro-milling and drilling tools, as well as engraving and fine milling, and they feature high rigidity and ultra precision (less than 2 microns runout) to enhance surface quality and machining accuracy, the company says.
Also available is the Argotech PA-4 process analyzer for continuous monitoring of repeating machine processes in real-time through pre-positioned sensors on the machine.
