Lexair Unload Pro Provides Flexibility in Part Unloading
PMTS 2023: The Lexair Unload Pro’s design enables configuration for parts to be unloaded from the front or rear of a machine.
The Unload Pro from Lexair Inc. and designed by Breuning IRCO can be configured to unload parts from the subspindle to the front or rear of the machine. This enables more flexibility in the design and layout of facilities to increase efficiency.
The Unload Pro can unload parts with a diameter of 3.15″ and length of 48″ that would normally have to be unloaded manually. This feature reduces the overall manpower required for the task and increases the automation of work cells.
A user-friendly, programmable control with a servo drive motor gives users the ability to reduce unload cycle time, while increasing accuracy and throughput. The unloader is on a set of precise roller bearings to enable the machine to move in the X-axis, giving users full access to the subspindle side of a machine.
An ID/OD collet can be used to mechanically grab the part or a tube that will go over the part. For parts with delicate finishes, Lexair says it is possible to utilize a specially treated collet to leave parts undamaged and an index conveyor to protect the surface from being damaged in the unloading process. The company specializes in bar loading and unloading technology.
