Growing for 20 Years, and It Shows

The previous 50 × 50-foot booth that Horn USA occupied since 2008 is now 50 × 100 feet at this year’s IMTS.

Horn USA opened its doors to serve the North American market in 1998 and exhibited that year at its first IMTS in a 600-square-foot booth. A strong core product line and the guidance of its parent company, Paul Horn GmbH, allowed the U.S. subsidiary to quickly plant local roots that would become a strong foundation for future growth.

Manufacturing operations in Middle Tennessee have expanded on a consistent and predictable cycle over the years. Horn USA’s presence at IMTS has followed the same pattern. The company continuously adds solutions-oriented products to its international portfolio. In turn, this requires knowledgeable employees to engage, educate, and support its customers.

“We have had several discussions with AMT over the past few years that revolved around our desire to expand our footprint at IMTS”, says Duane Drape, National Sales Manager of Horn USA. “The opportunity for a major expansion came along this spring that we could not pass up. Our 50 × 50-foot booth that we’ve occupied since 2008 is now 50 × 100 feet. That’s 5,000 square feet of space we plan to fill with new tool solutions, interesting application displays and several areas to sit down with visitors and hold open or private conversations.”

Drape continues, “The increased floor space does not change our long-term philosophy of serving the customer with solutions engineered to improve their ability to be competitive. In fact, show attendees will have access to ask questions and hold conversations with the largest number of application engineers that we have ever had staff our booth. We look forward to discussing the interesting and difficult applications that IMTS attendees bring to one of the largest manufacturing exhibitions in the world.”
