The PMPA Marketing Committee, with the support of the Board of Directors, commissioned the market research firm of Kleinhenz & Associates to conduct an in-depth study of the precision machined products industry. This yearlong study recently concluded, resulting in a CD titled, “Trends In Markets For Precision Machined Products.”
The PMPA Marketing Committee, with the support of the Board of Directors, commissioned the market research firm of Kleinhenz & Associates to conduct an in-depth study of the precision machined products industry. Members of the PMPA were asked to supply the research firm with the names of their current customers’ senior-level purchasing executives (major OEMs) who were willing to be interviewed about their procurement strategies. Kleinhenz & Associates conducted confidential interviews with those executives.
This yearlong study recently concluded, resulting in a CD titled, “Trends In Markets For Precision Machined Products.” The CD has been furnished to all PMPA members.
The study is divided into three sections. The first section summarizes key findings from interviews with customers of the precision machined products industry. The second section reports historical and forecast data for both the precision machined products industry and its customers. The final section discusses conclusions and implications regarding market developments and provides actions for precision machining firms to consider.
