Marubeni Citizen-Cincom Twin-Turret Lathes Feature Y-Axis Turrets

Equipped with double Y-axis turrets, the new Marubeni Citizen-Cincom BNE-MYY twin-turret lathe models offer better flexibility for the machining of complex components, the company says. These BNE-51MYY and BNE-65MYY offer 51- and 65-mm diameters. Operating with the same capabilities, these two 12-station turrets provide more flexible tooling options to optimize the machining processes enabling improved balanced machining operations.

Star CNC’s SX-38 B-Axis Swiss-Type Machines Complex, Large-Diameter Components

Star CNC says its SX-38 is a robust Swiss-type lathe designed for accurate, versatile machining of complex, large-diameter components from challenging materials. With more than 80 tools, gang- and turret-type tool positions, and a fully programmable B-axis, the Star CNC SX-38 type A/B delivers functionality for machining complex, mission-critical components. A slant-bed design provides rigidity and accuracy for high metal removal rates and enables easily switching between guide bushing and non-guide bushing for processing material up to 42 mm.

Peerless Machinery is a group of sales, engineering and service professionals that specializes in selling and servicing pre-owned Swiss CNC lathes. Toyoda Americas’ LA-250YS multitasking turning center is said to feature highly productive multi-axis turning capabilities made possible by built-in spindles, a 15-station turret and a box guideway design to enable dependable, repeatable complex machining.
