Baby, It's Cold Outside
There's a broader lesson for all of us about the connection between success and customer service.
Although it's not obvious by looking at this photo, it is currently very cold in Cincinnati! Chris (right) at his favorite haunt with owner Dave Murrie.
Along with much of our country, we’re enduring a horrific winter here in the Midwest. Snow, bitter cold, closings and general weather disruptions have wreaked havoc with our happy routine.
I’m reminded by this year’s nastiness of another winter a few years ago. It prompted me write my column about, well, my favorite lunch place and watering hole, and tie my affection for people who run companies to how they run them and go the extra mile for customers like me.
I think it represents a broader lesson for all of us about the connection between success and customer service. The correlation certainly transcends this single business to yours and mine.
