Find Out How You Compare with Your Peers

The 2018 Top Shops online benchmarking survey is now open, and you’re invited to participate. For the past eight years, our sister publication, Modern Machine Shop, has sponsored a benchmarking survey that enables shops to compare, apples to apples, how they stack up with their peers.

Production Machining readers are welcome to participate again this year by filling out the survey, which is now live at survey.mmsonline.com/topshops and will remain open through the end of February. Participation is easy and fast with your information held in confidence.

In the past, participants in the survey received a general Executive Summary as a main takeaway. It showed how the answers from the top 20-percent benchmarking group compared with the other 80 percent of shops that participated in the survey.

In addition to the Executive Summary, participants in the 2018 survey will be able to receive custom reports through our company’s Gardner Intelligence Group that better reflect your shop’s individual ranking to specific quantitative questions against other applicable participants. With this data, you can know how your shop ranks rather than guess.
