After a year of planning and construction, Kennametal Inc. has completed the relocation of Kennametal Extrude Hone GmbH to its new, purpose built location in Holzgunz, Germany.

After a year of planning and construction, Kennametal Inc. has completed the relocation of Kennametal Extrude Hone GmbH to its new, purpose-built location in Holzgunz, Germany. The relocation is consistant, the company says, with its strategy to increase efficiency and better serve its customers.
Two previous locations, Erkheim and Babenhausen, will relocate to the facility. A production unit from Shannon, Ireland, will also relocate to Holzgunz.
The company is taking the opportunity with the green field facility to equip it with the latest machine technology, including a new test and demonstration center designed to showcase the company’s capabilities in a single, one stop location.
