On April 26 at 3 p.m., Renishaw’s veteran industry expert, Dan Skulan, will present the advantages of adopting automated ways to control process variation and introduce the company’s Productive Process Pyramid approach to process control at PMTS 2017. Customers that have applied the technology and process controls have been able to resolve substantial production challenges, leading to improved process capability and productivity in their manufacturing operations.
Quality control is critical to producing parts acceptable to customers. In fact, it’s a given. In job shops most production runs don’t provide the time or volumes to refine a manufacturing process so getting it right the first time is critical. Mr. Skulan will present techniques to accomplish this goal for job shops.
