Global Shop Solutions, a provider of ERP software for manufacturers around the globe, has set the dates for its annual ERP User Conferences. The company is hosting two separate events — one onsite and one virtual. The onsite conference will be held at the Global Shop Solutions campus in The Woodlands, Texas from Oct. 17-19, while the virtual conference will take place on Nov. 14-15.

“This year, we’re taking it a step further by focusing each event on specific needs of different segments of our customer base, says Daniel Carranco, director of continuous improvement for Global Shop Solutions. “The onsite conference targets experienced users who want to further their advanced ERP skills. The virtual conference addresses newer users who are still learning basic ERP skills and want to move up to the next level.”

This year’s onsite conference will cover more than 18 advanced topics and is designed for experienced users that want to immerse themselves into every part of their ERP software. Each session includes real-world business use cases related to the topic that will deliver a more dynamic and hands-on learning experience. Attendees will have an opportunity to meet and interact with Global Shop Solutions’ senior management team and experienced ERP consultants.

The virtual conference is available to Global Shop Solutions customers at no cost and is targeted to new users who can benefit from concentrated learning on core ERP features and functionality. These will include key elements of the quote-to-cash process, designing custom business intelligence dashboards, tips and tricks to improve shop floor efficiency, taking advantage of existing Global Shop Solutions services and more.

Dusty Alexander, Global Shop Solutions president and CEO, says, “The networking, sharing ideas, swapping stories on manufacturing challenges and how our ERP software helped resolve them provides a rich learning experience for users at all levels.”

“Many of our current ERP features and capabilities came from ideas suggested or requested by our customers at these conferences,” adds Carranco. “Working with them in a spirited learning environment keeps us up to date on their changing needs so we can provide new products and services that continue to simplify their manufacturing.”
