Jergens has appointed Scott Halfhill to succeed Mark Kubik as its international product and business manager, taking effect following Kubik’s retirement in early April. Halfhill joins Jergens with more than 20 years of leadership and business development experience in manufacturing, including extensive work within the automotive industry.

The company says Halfhill will provide direction for international sales growth strategies, as well as support for sales and training at all Jergens wholly owned facilities around the world. In addition, he will continue development of Jergens distributor network.

In his career, Halfhill has used Six Sigma and lean methodologies to achieve next-level results in process control and design, operational efficiency, and business unit performance. His experience in business, domestic and international, also includes profit and loss responsibility, KPI metrics, market strategies and new product development.

“Scott is a really capable individual, with a mindset of organization and a flare for process driven results, and on top of that he’s a really personable guy, so we see him thriving at Jergens,” says Matt Schron, general manager of Jergens. “His abilities as a strategic planner will be utilized in this role and we’re excited to continue our growth and development in emerging markets among others.”

Halfhill is a former mechanic, crew chief, flight engineer and unit trainer for the 101st Airborne Division of the U.S. Army. He earned a bachelor’s degree in organizational psychology from High Point University.
