Methods Machine Tools, a supplier of high-quality, high-precision CNC machine tools, automation and engineering services,  welcomes William “Bill” Keim as its new general manager for Texas and Louisiana.

Keim, most recently a business sales manager at Zeiss, has over 25 years of experience in the capital equipment and metrology solutions industries. He assumes leadership of Methods’ sales, services and operations throughout Texas and Louisiana.

“Our leadership team got to know Bill quite well over the last few years through our collaboration and integrated selling motions with Zeiss, a longtime partner of Methods,” says Mark Wright, Methods’ president and CEO. “When this opportunity opened, Bill quickly came to mind, given his familiarity with our company, our industry and his long track record of sales and team-building excellence. We’re thrilled he’s come on board.”

Keim says joining Methods is an amazing opportunity. “It’s a company with a long, rich history in our industry, but one laser focused on the future,” Keim says. “For years, I’ve seen the growth of their portfolio of world-class CNC machines, industry-best engineering services and support and the wonderful people that make this company go.”

Methods expanded into Texas in late 2021 upon its acquisition of Houston- and Dallas-based Koch Machine Tool. Shortly after, Methods announced a new 285,000-square-foot production and distribution facility in Fort Worth, Texas, slated to open in 2023. Keim is tasked with growing Methods’ presence and share of the local markets.

“Manufacturers and shop owners face challenges on many fronts, whether it’s the labor crunch, technology gaps or need for process and quality improvements,” Keim adds. “For those who may not yet know the Methods name, our team stands ready to serve customers throughout the region to adopt a full lifecycle of solutions and services they need to grow their businesses.”
