Sunnen Products relocates its BTA Heller division to the company’s headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri. Sunnen’s acquisition of BTA Heller created a solution for shops looking for bore creation-to-finishing capabilities. The company added BTA’s deep hole tooling and systems for primary hole generation. The move facilitates further development of tooling, systems and processes, as it builds on natural synergies to offer bore creation and finishing solutions.

The company’s core technical competencies include automated and manual honing and lapping systems, system development and integration, abrasives, tooling, lubricants and gaging. The BTA Heller is said to expand Sunnen’s honing expertise to include tooling for initial hole creation and other complementary bore sizing and finishing processes.
