WTO USA announces the completion and opening of its North American headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina. The 21,600-square-foot building includes modern offices, a fully equipped repair and service area, a warehouse and a showroom to serve its growing customer base in North America.

To comply with the company’s global corporate sustainability goals, solar panels are installed on the entire roof. The solar energy system generates around 250,000 kWh of electricity annually and more than 6.8 million kWh over its expected lifetime of 30 years, according to the company. This corresponds to a saving of over 5,300 tons of carbon dioxide. WTO USA says it will therefore generate a large part of its electricity consumption.

WTO USA was founded in 1995 as WTO Inc. by Sascha Tschiggfrei. Since then, it has been serving the North American market directly on site with its factory owned sales and service center. Its customers can receive after-sales support and a professional repair service provided by its own specialists. This building provides the foundation for further expansion in the North American market.
