13” EVS Bandsaw Has Swiveling Head for Quick Cuts
Jet’s 13” EVS semi-automatic dual-mitering bandsaw has a swiveling head that miters 45 degrees right and 60 degrees left for quick angle cuts without repositioning the workpiece while a frequency inverter provides a range of blade speeds from 50 to 297 rpm.
Jet’s 13” EVS semi-automatic dual-mitering bandsaw has a swiveling head that miters 45 degrees right and 60 degrees left for quick angle cuts without repositioning the workpiece. A frequency inverter provides a range of blade speeds from 50 to 297 rpm.
This dual-mitering bandsaw weighs 2,090 lbs and is constructed of heavy gage steel throughout to dampen vibration and prevent deflection. The machine is driven by a 3-hp, 230/460V, 3-Ph motor, which is prewired for 230V, 3-Ph operation. A magnetic starter is utilized for low voltage and lost phase protection.
For rapid clamping of workpieces, the 13 × 24” saw is equipped with a hydraulic vise that has a 26” maximum opening. After each cut, the saw’s semi-automatic bow raises to a predetermined height. A hydraulic downfeed control can be adjusted, enabling feed rates to evolve with variable types of materials.
