Rohm Products of America’s 3/2 jaw chuck combines properties of 3- and 2-jaw chucks. The entire clamping range of the 3/2 jaw chuck can be turned, replaced or moved over for expanded machining options, the company says. Medical systems companies use the 3/2 jaw chuck to machine such components as knee and hip joint implants, and manufacturers in other industries as well use the jaw chuck’s versatility.

The assembly tool enables users to mount segmented collet chucks. According to the company, it also prevents damage during mounting without scratches on the clamping set or machine spindle.
