The D-Zolve 917 from Solvent Kleene Inc. is formulated to dissolve difficult-to-remove heavy rust from parts with complex shapes and bends, including rusted frozen bolts and nuts. Designed for use in an immersion tank heated to 135°F (57°C), it has no chlorinated or ozone depleting components and is non-flammable. It dissolves powder coating, strips chemical agent resistant coating (CARC) and paint. Further minimizing health risks, the company says D-Zolve 917 has a low level of toxicity and is non-carcinogenic. It is offered in 5 gallon pails and 55 gallon drums.
