Dillon Fast-Trac Jaw Nuts Reduce Change time
Nuts convert standard chucks into quick-change chucks, reducing jaw change time.
Dillon Manufacturing’s Fast-Trac Jaw Nuts convert standard chucks into quick-change chucks which can reduce jaw change time by 50% or more, according to the company. This system enables users to preassemble the jaws required for the next operation while the machine is running a separate job. This can minimize jaw change time to maximize both productivity and profitability. The company says that its jaw nuts, T-nuts and keys all fit popular power chucks ranging in size from 6" to 24" in diameter, from companies including Forkhardt, Gamet, Howa, Kitigawa, Matsumoto (MMK), Nikko, Pratt Burnerd, Rohm, Samchully, Schuck, SMW, SMW-Autoblok and more. Dillon also offers special T-nut designs and manufacturing services for custom workhlolding requirements. The jaw nuts are well-suited for workholding applications that require durability and high strength, such as high-speed machining.
