Filtration Technology Separates Dirty and Clean Oil
Vomat’s full flow filtration technology separates dirty and clean oil and provides cleaned cooling lubricants to NAS 7 (3-5 μm) standards, allowing coolant to remain longer in the system than in conventional filter systems.
Vomat’s full flow filtration technology separates dirty and clean oil and provides cleaned cooling lubricants to NAS 7 (3-5 μm) standards. They can be used to remove fine particles from oils, and are used in processes, such as grinding, honing, lapping, and EDM. With these special filters cleaned coolant can remain longer in the system than in conventional filter systems which often operate with short-lived paper filters or other costly filtration media, the company says.
The filtration technology offers a low-maintenance concept. According to the company, the Vomat FA series systems are designed in such a fashion that in-house maintenance technicians can maintain the machines at specified intervals.
In addition, the systems are reliable and incur few problems. Machine breakdowns can often be remedied via the integrated internet diagnostics system, the company says. This allows in-house personnel to immediately diagnose and fix malfunctions, while being guided by German Vomat technicians in real time.
