FX Linear Tool Grinding Machine with Robot Loader
Features include linear motors on X and Y axes, an AM5000 control system and an HSK40 taper. Available as an option is the AR300 robot loader to automate repetitive manual tasks.
The FX7 Linear tool grinding machine from Anca is especially useful for shops that require increased flexibility, more spindle power or the increased automation capacity that a robot can provide. Features include linear motors on X and Y axes, an AM5000 control system and an HSK40 taper. Available as an option is the AR300 robot loader to automate repetitive manual tasks.
The three-axes robot has a capacity of 380 tools and accommodates tool sizes up to 20-mm diameter (3/4”) × 150 mm (6”) long. The AR300 loader is contained within the FX Linear machine footprint, so there is no need for extra floor space. In addition, there is no need to change gripper fingers between batches, which further maximizes productivity, the company says. The loader is designed to provide quick tool loading, as the tool is passed directly from the pallet to the collet in a single gripping action.
