Haimer Sprint i4.0 Introduces Shops to the Digital Age
PMTS 2019: Haimer’s shrink fit machine is said to introduce shops to the digital age of connectivity.
Haimer’s shrink fit machine, Power Clamp Sprint i4.0, is said to introduce shops to the digital age of connectivity. The machine is designed to provide ergonomics and integrate cooling for different types of cutting tools. According to the company, even ER collets can be shrink fit with this holding fixture. The machine is said to be especially useful for Swiss-turn and live tooling. Machine features include software to simplify usability, cooling system with temperature control and 7" touchscreen display. Users can also customize the machine with a laser scanner to read and set shrinking parameters automatically.
