Northfield Precision Instrument Corp.’s Pressure-Lok air chuck requires no air tubes or hoses. It is charged with air by a special handle and holds air pressure for more than two weeks.
This workholding air chuck can be mounted to rotary tables with no thru-hole, tombstones, pallets, transfer systems and more. The Pressure Lok air chuck is especially useful in machining operations that do not have air tubes near the machine.
Northfield air chucks are available for any lathe, boring machine, grinder or VMC. Models include through-hole, high-speed and quick-change. Chucks are available in SAE or metric, in sizes from 3" (76 mm) to 18" (457 mm), guaranteeing accuracies between 0.001" and 0.00001" (0.254m).
