Rathbone Complex Profiles Offer Variety
PMTS 2019: Rathbone’s complex profiles in carbon, alloy and stainless steel are produced through precision cold drawing and cold rolling.
Rathbone Precision Metals’ complex profiles in carbon, alloy and stainless steel are produced through precision cold drawing and cold rolling. These profiles are said to assist manufacturers with innovations by reducing machining and material costs.
The company’s profiles range in cross-sectional areas that fit within 0.032"-2.000" diameter circle. The profiles feature a variety of forms that include catch weight and pancake wound coils, exact length and random mill length bars, deburred and non-deburred saw cut pieces, as well as adiabatic sheared pieces for larger volume requirements. Minimum mill quantities are as low as 300 pounds although we are open to conversations for possible smaller quantities.
