CJWinter has developed thread roll calculators to help manufacturers understand and optimize their thread rolling process. The Pitch and Blank Diameter Calculator and Material Thread Rollability Calculator, and the Penetration rate calculator and Thread Rollability calculator for CJWinter Pneumatic attachments are all designed to be user friendly, interactive and provide immediate feedback.

The Pitch and Blank Diameter Calculator enables users to choose their thread size and pitch. It also provides results for the recommended blank diameter as well as the maximum and minimum pitch diameter.

The Material Thread Rollability Calculator has users simply enter material properties such as elongation, tensil and hardness. The calculator provides results to determine if that material can be thread rolled. It also provides color feedback for each of the three material properties — green indicates the material can be thread rolled while red indicates it cannot be thread rolled.

The Penetration rate calculator for CJWinter Pneumatic attachments enables users to optimize their process to improve thread geometry and appearance of thread, and increase the thread roll life. The Thread Rollability calculator for  CJWinter Pneumatic attachments will verify if a certain thread size and material combination can be rolled.
