Stop by for These PMTS Tech Talk and Showfloor Demo Presentations
The PMTS 2019 Tech Talk and Showfloor Demo schedule includes presentations from CJ Winter/Davenport and Tsugami/Rem Sales. Take advantage of these learning opportunities at the show!
Are you planning to attend PMTS 2019 this year? If so, don’t miss the PMTS Tech Talks and Showfloor demonstrations to learn more about specific products and processes. The Tech Talks are brief, interactive presentations held on the show floor by industry professionals and leading equipment suppliers that will give attendees the knowledge to help improve their company’s processes. Showfloor demonstrations are scheduled opportunities for attendees to see technology live without other distractions in the booth. Put time aside for these events that allow you to see the latest technology, with company personnel available to answer questions.
On Wednesday, April 3, from 1:00 to 1:30 p.m., Lib Pietrantoni, director of Global Sales ME for CJ Winter/Davenport, will be in the Tech Talk Theater in the back of Hall A. His presentation will cover how material selection and properties, blank design, tooling, feeds and speeds, and gaging all impact successful fabrication of rolled threads. The troubleshooting review will begin with defining common problems and then walk through the process of finding solutions.
Also on Wednesday, April 3, from 3:30 to 4:00 p.m., Derek Briggs, Swiss product manager for Tsugami/Rem Sales, will have a Showfloor demo in the company’s booth (6016). He will cover the benefits and ease of use of oscillation cutting, MachineMetrics (IoT monitoring platform), the SmartFlex guide bushing, and quickchange tooling.

(Like I asked it to do for me and you’ll see at this year’s Precision Machining Technology Show). Here I explain why it’s worth the time to read that article.
