Haas Automation Installs its 200,000th Machine
Haas Automation Inc. installed the 200,000th Haas CNC machine.
Haas Automation Inc. installed the 200,000th Haas CNC machine. It was 30 years ago that a little upstart machine tool company from Southern California introduced its first vertical machining center. The Haas VF-1—known as the Very First One—became the industry benchmark for affordable CNC technology, according to the company.
The company’s 200,000th machine—a UMC-750SS—rolled off the production line and was installed at Vineburg Machining Inc., in Carson City, Nevada. Scott Gasich, V.P. of sales and marketing at Haas Automation Inc. says, “The fact that it coincides with the 30th anniversary of the Haas VF-1 is proof that the Haas combination of value, performance, reliability and support is just as important today as it was in 1988.”
