LNS Turbo MH140 Chip Conveyor Filters Mixed Chips
The Turbo MH140 filtering chip conveyor is designed to prolong coolant life, reduce tool wear, protect coolant pumps from damage and reduce coolant tank maintenance.
LNS North America’s Turbo MH140 filtering chip conveyor is well suited for sliding headstock and multitasking machining centers that produce mixed chips of any size and geometry from a variety of materials, including aluminum, brass, cast iron and more.
Using the combination of a hinge belt to handle large and stringy chips, and a new dual-layer technology filter box that removes fines while filtering coolant to 140 μm, MH140 is said to prolong coolant life, reduce tool wear, protect coolant pumps from damage and reduce coolant tank maintenance.
The chip conveyor’s filtering box is self-cleaning during operation, making it virtually maintenance free. A patented Live Link feature enables fine chips to leave the cutting area between each belt flight, so chips cannot accumulate over time.
MH140 fits most machine coolant tanks and the small footprint — no larger than a standard conveyor — saves valuable floor space. A specialized frame design using high-strength materials enables the conveyor to withstand extreme loads, torsional forces and abrasion for trouble-free operation and long life.
