LK Metrology’s Camio CMM software version 8.5 has a range of features to help meet user challenges. Regardless of whether inspecting stamped, molded or machined parts, the software drives inspection programs for geometric features along with surface analysis with Part-to-CAD comparisons. Also, the software is interoperability across CMM platforms, sensor technology and manufacturing sites.
Several features include the ability to interface with Geomagic’s 3D-data processing software that is used in 3D scanning solutions to create accurate models from scanned data, or for quality control and measurement applications. The software supports the Renishaw PHS1 head system along with ACR2 autochange rack. It also supports the Renishaw SP80 head. The software changes to docking behavior of the windows to enable users to customize the interface for a specific task.
