Platinum Tooling Speed Increasers Maximize Productivity
PMTS 2019: Platinum Tooling’s speed increasers are said to maximize productivity by enabling higher spindle speeds.
Platinum Tooling’s speed increasers are said to maximize productivity by enabling higher spindle speeds. In addition, the increasers enable less wear and tear on the machine’s spindle when it is not required to run at its maximum speed.
Mechanical speeders are available with a 1-to-8 gear ratio and a speed ranging as fast as 50,000 rpm. Air speeders can run continuously as fast as 80,000 rpm and frequency motor spindles can maintain as fast as 80,000 rpm with high torque, and have variable speed options. Many of the speeders have automatic tool change capabilities and are modular in design to offer the customer flexibility.
