Unisig’s R-2A rifling equipment is designed as a solution for gun manufacturers. It performs the final steps of firearm manufacturing by finishing barrel blanks, the company says.
According to the company, a storage capacity of up to 300 part programs makes it possible to complete many different part setups quickly with less input from the operator, which significantly increases productivity. The machine’s programs suit a broad range of calibers and profiles.
The rifling equipment fits within either a job shop’s CNC cell or a high-volume production environment, the company says. The machines are also automation ready for lights-out operation.
