Automated Production Intelligence Streamlines Monitoring
IMTS22: Datanomix’s Automated Production Intelligence platform provides automated job performance data for every single part made on every machine, with no configuration.
Datanomix showcases its Automated Production Intelligence platform, which is said to automate data collection and analysis of CNC machine data and deliver deep insights into production, both in real time and over time. Datanomix says its platform delivers industry-leading innovation for data and analytics without requiring a team of data professionals.
The Datanomix platform offers a solution that focuses on the user experience in a number of ways. It requires no operator input, meaning shops can stop pulling operators away from machines for data entry, as data is pulled directly from machine controllers to deliver contextual insights automatically. Additionally, the platform reportedly provides automated job performance data for every single part made on every machine, with no configuration — just insights based on derived benchmarks.
The platform is said to provide easy integration with top partners, elevate company communication and show work cell improvements during workforce training. Visualizations of existing workflows, including production meetings, continuous improvement, margin opportunities and more are displayed, and the platform has standard reports and dashboards provide to insights and direction, rather than raw data.
With Datanomix TV Mode, shop workers are able to naturally flow to the jobs that need support in real time, instead of waiting until a post mortem the next day. According to the company, a recent analysis of its customers’ performance revealed a 33.5% increase in factory utilization after installing TVs across the factory and implementing Datanomix TV Mode.
A number of out-of-the-box reports and dashboards deliver insights into overall trends for the management team to make strategic decisions around job costing, continuous improvement, capital expenditures and personnel. In addition, Datanomix says its platform makes it easy to understand overall factory utilization and shift performance, and to identify opportunities to improve margin due to inefficiencies or to pinpoint jobs that are no longer profitable.
