Ellison Technologies TT1800SY Machine Designed for Accuracy
PMTS 2019: Ellison Technologies’ Puma TT1800SY multi-turret horizontal turning center is designed for long-term accuracy.
Ellison Technologies’ Puma TT1800SY multi-turret horizontal turning center is designed for long-term accuracy. Its high-speed turret indexing and rapid traverse rates is said to minimize non-cutting time, while the C-axis contouring and Y-axis off-center milling/drilling enable single set-up of complex work pieces. The machining center is said to include 24 tool positions in the upper and lower turrets for complicated parts that require a number of tools. According to the company, the multi-tasking capabilities increase productivity and enable production requirements by reducing lead time, changeover time, set-up time and time between operations.
