Mikron CrazyDrill SST Inox Adapts to Materials
PMTS 2019: The CrazyDrill SST Inox part of Mikron Tool’s range of carbide cutting tools for the machining of stainless steels including titanium, chrome-cobalt alloys or other super alloys such as Inconel and Hastelloy.
The CrazyDrill SST Inox part of Mikron Tool’s range of carbide cutting tools for the machining of stainless steels including titanium, chrome-cobalt alloys or other super alloys such as Inconel and Hastelloy. The tools can be customized by diameters between 0.012" and 0.32" (0.3 mm-8 mm) depending on tool type. The range of tools offer solutions for drilling, milling and deburring.
The SST Inox is a small drill for bore diameters from 0.012" to 0.08" (0.3 mm-2 mm) and for drilling as deep as 12×d. The tool is said to be especially adaptive to the characteristics of stainless materials. It features the required special tip configuration and a digressive flute to enable a good chip break and swift chip evacuation, according to the company.
