Somma Tool Co. is said to supply all the options needed by companies who use form tools. Resharpenable quick-change inserts and holders can be resharpened 20-30 times, reducing machine downtime, according to the company. Single-Use inserts and economical holders are especially useful for users that prefer not to resharpen or grind inserts. The company also provides blank inserts and EDM fixtures users need to make their own inserts in-house.
Additionally, the company will design inserts from customer part prints and supply the PDF print and DXF file. Traditional dovetail and circular blanks and finish ground-to-print form tools are also available.
